NOW HIRING CULINARY SPECIALIST!

The Culinary Specialist prepares all food ordered for guests, events and parties to the specifications as directed by the Food and Beverage Director.
They provide excellent preparation and presentation of all food leaving the kitchen.
The Culinary Specialists ensure that all items going out of the kitchen are accounted for by the employees ringing the items in the system.
The Culinary Specialists work as a team to keep the kitchen clean and up to local Health Code Standards.
 

 
Role and Responsibilities

• On time and a positive attitude
• Complete orders as trained and instructed to do so, placing food on plates per presentation
• Able to hand toss pizza dough if required to do so
• Will breakdown and clean all culinary equipment on each shift
• Prep food as needed for all parties and events as directed
• Will ensure line checklists are completed and filled out accurately and legibly as instructed by Kitchen Manager
• Prepare all food as per recipes and specs provided
• Plan work on orders so that items served together are finished at the same time
• Clean food preparation equipment, work areas, and counters or tables
• Restock supplies on proper shelves
• Practices essential FIFO objectives date stamp all deliveries
• May be called upon to expo and get the kitchen caught-up during peak periods
• Other duties as assigned
• Complete ongoing training as instructed by Director of Training​​​​​​

• High School Diploma and two years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  

• Current Food Handlers Certification is a plus!
