The Guest Services representative works under the direction of all management. They are essential in providing top guest service to all visiting the center. Greeting all Guests, assigning lanes, and having knowledge of all specials and activities being offered. Offering all Guests the WOW experience.

            Role and Responsibilities

  • Greet customers as they enter bowling center.
  • Tell them of house services, bowling, promotions and league opportunities and openings  
  • Assign open lanes to customers
  • Ensure that bowler area, lane approaches, and ball returns are cleaned prior to putting new customers on lanes.
  • Operate POS and P.A. System
  • Take payment from customers, make correct change, use credit card machine where appropriate
  • Rental shoes are to be checked for cleanliness when distributing and collecting from customers to ensure there is no foreign substance in or on the shoes
  • Rent shoes
  • Handle customer telephone inquiries and take messages and page customers as necessary
  • Assist with posting bulletins, promoting current events & promotions, Lane-to-Lane solicitation, VIB Cards, folding flyers, etc., as time permits
  • All employees are expected to assist in the promotional process of bowling, food, beverage, etc. This may include lane-to-lane solicitation, handing out flyers, asking customers to join a league, inviting them to an upcoming promotion, etc.
  • Other duties assigned as needed

            Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience in the service industry required. 18 years and older to apply.

  • Two (2) years experience in front-line employees in the bowling, food, hotel, or retail services preferred but not required.
